Patsy Cline was a legendary singer, whose songs like “I Fall to Pieces” and “Crazy” inspired generations of artists that came after her. But the late country icon was perhaps happiest when she was at home with her husband, Charlie Dick, and their two kids, Julie and Randy. In fact, one author uncovered and published the contents of a spontaneously written will the singer penned in April 1961, shortly after the birth of her son, Allen, who she called “Randy.” The contents of the will, which was never legally filed, can be found in Douglas Gomery’s book Patsy Cline: The Making of an Icon. Patsy's husband, Charlie Dick, resides in Nashville where he has continued to be a well known member of the Country Music community, producing documentaries on Cline and other artists through his video production company. Dick is very involved with Cline's fan base and considers them an extension of family, attending many fan functions.
